The Union Company's transpacific steamer Wairuna left. Newcastle last Saturday for Fiji, Farming Island and Vancouver. She is due at Suva next Satur- • day. After unloading her sugar cargo at Vancouver the vessel will load at Pacific Coast ports for Auckland, Napier, Lyttelton. Dunedin. Bluff and New Plymouth. She. is to clear Los Angeles on April 5 and is due at Auckland 011 May 1. THE lONIC. . Tho New Zealand Shipping Company's lew 17.500-ton motor-ship Rangitiki is scheduled 10 clear Southampton 011 February 15 on her maiden voyage to New Zealand. The vessel i 3 due at Wellington 011 March 22 to land passengers and mail, and afterwards-she will unload her general merchandise cargo at Lyttelton. Port Chalmers and Bluff. The Rangitiki is the first of three new motor-ships ordered by the torn Zealand Shipping Company. She is 530 ft. m length, with a 70ft. Sin. beam, and a depth of 43ft 3in. Her propellers are driven by two Brown-Stilzer five-cylinder oil engines, each developing between 4000 and 5000 h.p. The deadweight, carrying capacity of the vessel is 13,000 tons. The insulated space in the holds totals 425,000 cubic feet, and the uninsulated 150,000 cubic lcett. She has accommodation for 100 firstl,aS9engers, 80 second-class and 400 third-class. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Bowen is to sail for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin at 10 o'clock this evening, in continuation of her voyage from Liverpool. THE KARAMEA. . „Tk e Shaw, Sa.vill and Albion motor-ship Karamea is to be despatched from London for Suva, Fort, Chalmers. Lyttelton and Nelson on March 0. She is due at Port Chalmers on April 15. RARANGA TO LOAD. Now en route from Liverpool to Australia. the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer R'aranga is nchedulod to load in New Zealand for England during March and April. THE WAITEMATA. With cargo from Pacific Coast ports the Union Company's steamer Waitemata was to clear Los Angeles last Sunday for Auckland,. Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney, bhe is due at Auckland on February 28. CARGO FROM THE EAST. The Waiotapu is to leave Bluff for Wellington and Auckland to-day to complete discharging Eastern produce from Calcutta, Singapore, Penang and Samarang. She 13 expected at Auckland at tho beginning of next week. CANADIAN TRANSPORTER. The Canadian Transporter arrived from Napier yesterday afternoon and berthed at Prince's Wharf to complete loading general cargo. This morning the vessel will move to Western Wharf to replenish her oil fuel and after the work is completed she will sail for New York, Boston and Halifax. THE TAINUI. The Shaw. Savill and Albion liner Tainui, which reached Southampton on January 27. is to sail on her return voyage to New Zealand on March 1. Her discharging ports will be Wellington and Auckland, and she 13 due at Wellington on April 6. THE ANGLO COLUMBIAN. The steamer Anglo Columbian reached Colon last Saturday, en route from Galveston, Texas, with a full cargo of sulphur for discharge ■/ at Auckland and Australia. She is due at Auckland about the beginning of March. Messrs. R. Millar and Company are the local agents. WAIHEMO AT VANCOUVER. The Union, Company's transpacific steamer Waihemo reached Vancouver from Sydney last Saturday. The vessel is to load at Pacific Coast ports for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. She is scheduled to clear Los Angeles on February 22 and to reach Auckland on March 19. THE CITY OF NORWICH. The City of Norwich cleared Newport News last Saturday in continuation of her voyage from New York to Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunfediri. The vessel is under charter to the A. and A. Line and the New Zealand Shipping Company are the local agents. She is due at Auckland about March 5. » MAUI POMARE DELAYED. Spedding, Limited, advise the Government motor-ship Maui Pomare was delayed by bad weather at Wellington, and did not leave for Auckland until 11.45 yesterday morning. The vessel is now due to-morrow afternoon, and owing to the delay her departure from Auckland for Norfolk Island has been postponed until three o'clock on Thursday afternoon. AWAHOU AND PUKEKO. The Richardson steamer Awahou arrived at mid-day yesterday and berthed at King's Wharf. She is to be despatched on her return trip to Hick's Bay, Tokomaru Bay and Gisborne at five o'clock this evening. The Pukeko sailed for East Const bays. Napier and Wairoa yesterday afternoon. She is due to return to Auckland on Saturday. THE MAMILIUS. Due from Wellington this morning the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Mamilins will berth at Queen's Wharf to continue loading New Zealand produce for London and West Coast ports of Great Britain. The other loading ports are Wanganni, New Plymouth. Bluff and Port Chalmers. The vessel is to ho despatched from Port Chalmers for London on February 22. A. S. Paterson and Company. Limited, are the local agents. KIA ORA'S ITINERARY. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Kia Ora is expected to complete unloading her cargo of basic slag at, King's Wharf about Saturday. Afterwards she will commence loading refrigerated and_. general cargo at Auckland for England. Next Tuesday sho is to sail for Oamaru. Wanganai, Wellington. Timaru and Lyttelton to complete loading. From Lyttelton she is to be despatched for London, via Panama, on March 1. THE PORT MELBOURNE. The Commonwealth and Dominion Lino steamer Port Melbourne, which 13 duo at Auckland from Australia on February 10, will load refrigerated and general cargo at this port and will then go to Gisborne, Napier and Wellington to continue loading. The vessel is to return to Auckland on March 8 to complete loading and two days later she is to be despatched for London, via Panama. The Farmers' Co-opera-tive Auctioneering Company are the local agents. THE QUEEN OLGA An arrival at Auckland yesterday afternoon waß the steamer Queen Olga, with a full cargo of 7200 tons of raw sugar from Java. She is unloading at Chelsea. The vessel is a war-time standard-built steamer, and was launched at Glasgow in 1919. She was first named the W»ir Archusa and then tho Bembridge. Her owners are the Cadogan Steamship Company, Glasgow. The Queen Olga left Newcastle-on-Tyne on May 24, and went to Lisbon and loaded a full cargo of cork, which was discharged at Sydney. Afterwards she made two voyages to Ocean Island and loaded phosphates for Australia. On her present voyage she cleared Java on January 11 and experienced finn weather to Auckland. Captain C. H.
