NEW BAPTIST CHURCH.
BUILDING AT PUKEKOHE.

The erection of the Baptist Church at Pukekohe is to be commenced •on Monday, a tender having been accepted for the laying of the bricks and arrangements for other work was made.
It is hoped to hold the ceremony of formally laying the foundation stone on Saturday; February 23. At a meeting of. members of the church this week. ,it <Was decided to have ornamental work carried out on the church site, at the corner of Victoria Street, and Seddon Street. Slow-growing shrubs aro to he planted and a seat placed on each side of the triangular area at the corner.
