POINTS TO REMEMBER*
Rules for members of the Herald .Circles are reprinted for the benefit of new members and readers who wish to become members. Now members are only enrolled when application is made on a Circles enrolment form. These are printed once a month. Fill in the form as requested; if the writing is illegible, or instructions not observed, no enrolment is made. There is no charge for enrolment in Circles, and girls and boys from six to sixteen who are eligible, may belong to both the Pen-friends' and Artists' Circles. All requests for badges must be made on the printed badge form, forwarded with Is 6d in postal notes or stamps. Write on one side of paper only. No exceptions allowed. Writing in pencil allowed only to sick children and little folk under eight years. Give full name, not initials, address, and age at top of first sheet of letter or competition entry. Girls and boys with unusual names must write " Miss", or " Master" each time they sign their name. Use fresh sheets for every entry; do not write letter, motto, or riddle all on one sheet. Name and address must be given on each itom, with age also for competitions. All drawings, verse, and other items should be marked " Copied," or, " Original." Receipts for cash prizes should be made out carefully, signed, and addressed " Messrs. Wilson and Horton," as requested on the form, not sent to the editor of " Boys and Girls." Mark all envelopes according to contents, " Letterbox Corner," Bookland, motto, competition, etc. Address all entries and letters to Miss E. K. Morton Editor " Boys and Girls," New Zealand Herald, Auckland. Letters and competition entries which do not observe tbeM rules will be disqualified. CUT THIS OUT AND KEEP IT.
