DESIRE FOR RAILWAY.
REQUEST FROM OPOTIKI. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] OPOTIKI, Friday. . A representative deputation waited on the Opotiki Borough Council to-day to ask the council to bring under tho notice of the Prime Minister and Minister of Railways the urgent need of the continuation of the railway from Tnneatua to Opotiki After discussion the council unanimously decided to support tho proposals and to writo to both Ministers on tho matter. The council also decided to suggest to the Minister of Railways thqt ho should endeavour to visit Opotiki when making his proposed trip investigating railway matters
