AUXILIARY SCHOONER.
TO BE BUILT IN AUCKLAND.
USE IN COASTAL TRADE
An order .for a large schooner has been placed with Messrs. Charles Dailey and Son, Limited, of Auckland. The new boat will be 140 ft. in length, and will have a beam of 35ft. She will be fitted with auxiliary power, and will be employed in the New Zealand coastal trade. Heart, of kauri will be used for her construction, and the keel will bo laid early in January. She is expected to be completed next September.
