BRITISH LEGION.
SPIRIT OF SERVICE.
INFLUENCE ON THE NATION. (Received November '26, 5.-5 p.m.) British Wireless. lIUGBY, Nov. -5 Major-General Sir Frederick Maurice opened a new club of tho British Legion at Harrow yesterday. He said tho members of tho legion must look to tho future. They must avoid becoming narrow and self-centred.
They had to perpetuate in the lifo of tho nation tho spirit of service which had carried the country through the Great War. Ho would like to see tho British legion taking an active interest in tho Boy Scout movement and suggested that wherever possible a troop of scouts might bo attached to tho local branch of the legion.
