MOTOR TRAFFIC.

•Sir,—Coining down Shortland Street at ' 9.30 on Monday morning I again noticed a block of traffic, viz., two lorries coming up and motor-cars trying to come down, but having to back up the istreet again as there was only room for traffic one way on account cars being allowed to park on both sides of Shortland Street. I leave the public to judge what a farce this way of working things is. While on the subject I must complain about the way cars are closely packed together, frequently necessitating persons crossing this street going from place to placo to get through to the pavements. Pedestrian.
