KING'S SCHOOL.
OPENING OF NEW CHAPEL.
One of the old wooden blocks of King's itehool, Remuera, has recently been rebuilt s.nd converted into a chapel for the schooL Workmen havo been busy for some time past on the building, which is situated lietween the main building and Remuera Road. It formerly contained two classrooms, the mast ere' common-room, and a dormitory upstairs. The parent college s,t Middlemore has a fine memorial chapel built in brick, and while the structure at the school will not lie in any way the equal of the college chapel, it will, nevertheless, be an important addition to the eld schooL The building is to be dedicated by Archbishop Averill at 10 o'clock on Thursday morning. An old bovs' and parents' service will be conducted by the headmaster, the Rev. J. G. Castle, in the evening.
