MISSING BUSINESS MAN.
SEARCH ON RANG lITOTO. Fears are entertained for the safety of Mr. H. J. Whitley, of W. 8. Whitley and Sons, Ltd., gum brokers, and produce merchants, Gore Street, who disappeared after leaving Ins office at noon on Saturday A message has been received that Mr. Whitley was a passenger on board a Rangitoto ferry boat on Saturday afternoon ai d n search will be conducted on tho island to-uay. Aged 56 years Mr. Whitley is slightly ln>ilt and of medium height. lie is of fair complexion, with blue eyes. Ho dons not wear a hat and when lie left tho office was dressed in a grey suit. Mr. Whitley resides at 6, Bridgewater Road, Parnell, with his wifo and three children. Ho is stated to have been in indifferent health.
