MISS SPENCER'S DANCE. A colour scheme in orange and pink and numbers of tiny coloured lights made the Symondsvillo Dance Studio a very attractive place on Saturday evening. There was a good attendance of dancers, and Mr. J. Rowe and his orchestra provided much appreciated music for dancing. Among those present were:—Mr.s. Spender, who worn a frock of lime taffeta and cyclamen velvet wrap; Mrs. Schmidt, houffant frock of petunia georgette; Miss Spencer, frock of apple-green taffeta and tulle; Aliss Buckingham, jade green crepe do chine and silver; Miss dla, Mitchell, cyclamen crepe do chine with gold laco hem, Miss Moore, claret georgette, handed with velvet to tone; Miss G. Herring, larkspur blue brocaded georgette; Miss M. McJvenzie, kingfisher green georgette and ivory lace; Miss May Dunn, petalled frock of lettuce green satin beaute and gold tissue. Miss Ihomas, rose crepo do chine and lace; Miss B. Barry, frock of ivory lace over pink; Miss 0. Goodcss, flesh pink crepe do clinic; Miss A. Bruce, gold lace over flame georgette; Miss Jean Casey, saxe blue frock of crepo de chine; Miss E. Morris, shrimp pink georgette and gold ace; Miss J. Christie, black lace over black crepe do chine; Miss J. Thompson, ivory georgette trimmed with powder blue lace.
Miss D. King wore black ring velvet with panels of silver tissue; Miss E. King, henna floral georgette and lace; Miss M. Wcathcrburn, roso lace with large hip bows ot tulle. Miss B. Weatherburn, beigo georgette with deep hem of ivory Jacu; Miss Nancyc Schmidt, deep orange taffeta, inserted with gold lace; Miss Ray Wickham, peacock blue georgette finished \\ith fur hem; JMiss Edna Wickham, ivory lace frock ovei cyclamen georgette, and cyclamen sash • Miss Mavis Gray, shell pink taffeta and gold lame; Miss G. Bowcn, wine velvet frock finished with georgette hem; Miss Lowes, white taffeta lrock with red posy; Miss Margery Hinge, sea-green crepo do chine and 'Oriental shawl; Miss A. Stewart, deep rose taffeta trimmed with diamante; Miss A. Green opal bluo crepo do chine and silver lace; .Miss Mario Whyte, cornflower blue lame and bluo tulle; Miss Blackwell, frock of black georgette and blue flower; Miss D. Robinson, pastel mauve frock of crepe de chine; Miss Allen, corsage of cherry velvet, skirt of frilled georgette; Miss McAdam, frock of black satin beauty with panels of silver lame; Miss Rona Ferguson, ivory georgette beaded in pink crystals; Miss G. Saunders, emerald green georgette, gold lace and tulle; JMiss M. Menzies, air-forco bluo lace over .blue georgette; Miss Hurley, black floral taffeta and black lace.
