AT HOME.
NORTH SHORE ROWING CLUB.
The president, commodore, officers and members of the North Shore Rowing Club held an At Home in the boat-house, King Edward Farade, Dcvonport, in conjunction with the opening day races. Flags were hung across the boat-house and inside bunches of mimosa and greenery mado a pleasing effect. The president, Mr. N. G. Cameron, called upon Mr. Alec Harris, M.P., patron of the club, to declare the season open. Mr. Harris spoke of tlio keen interest taken in rowing, and also of (ho work done by the ladies' social committee during the winter months. Mr. McLean, past president, wished tlio club every success in tlio coming year. Afternoon tea was served by Mrs. C. Seagar, Mrs. T. C. Farquharson, Mrs. S. Rutland, Mrs. Sharpe, Miss C. Porter, Miss Tattou and .Miss Melville. Among Iho guests present were: —Mrs. N. G. Cameron, Mrs. J?. McCalluni, Mrs. F. Xeal. Mrs. Preeiy, Mrs. Walsh, Mrs. I). W. McLean. Mrs. Oliver, Mrs. S.
