KING GEORGE FILMED.
AMERICANS ASK HIGH FEE. BRITISH EXHIBITORS PROTEST. Australian and N.Z. Press Association. LONDON, Nov. 22. British exhibitors have declined to pay £IOO, the sum asked by the Americans for the exhibition of the " talkio " film taken when King George opened a bridge at Newcastle on November 6.
They say they aro being held to ran* som on account of their patriotic duty. They feel that if the King were aware of it he would disapprove of the exploitation of his voice.
