ENGLISH TOURING TEAM.
WIN FOR NEW SOUTH WALES. (Received November 21, 12.15 a.m.) SYDNEY. Nov. 23. Tho lawn tennis match between the visiting Englishmen and New South Wales was completed to-day, in fino weather. Tho results were as follows: In tho singles Willard beat Higgs (England), 6—4, 13—15, 6—3; Crawford beat Gregory (England), 3 —6, 6 3, 6 4. Gregory's shots lacked strength. Crawford played many fine shots and placements, and profited by Gregory's errors. Collins (England) beat Kalms, 6—l, 4—6, 6-2.
11l tlio doubles Crawford and Hopman heat Gregory and Austin (England), 4 —6, 6 —4, 6—l, 6—3. New South Wales won five rubbers, 15 sets ami 126 games. Britain won three rubbers, 10 sets and 114 games.
