REPRESENTATION ABROAD. REASON FOR NEW POLICY. Australian Press Association—United Service (Received November r J3, G.."> p.m.) TORONTO. Nov. 22. Tho I'lime Minister, Mr. Mackenzie King, speaking at a meeting of the Board of Trade in Toronto, said his administration had entered the diplomatic field, not onlv to assume responsibility for Canada's external affairs, but also because it believed that consultation and co-operation with tho lirilish Ambassadors abroad would serve to broaden tho base and securo more firmly the foundation upon which tho Government of the British Empire rested. The new move would make for British unity and permanency, as well as tor tho peace of tiio world.
