WATERPROOF BEACH BAG.
, MAKE IT YOURSELF. The very thing for the girls to carry their wet, unsightly bathing gowns and towels home after tho dip is tho beach bag, says an overseas authority. Tho idea is an attractive and economical one, suggestive of. Christmas gifts. All you require is a, little patience and half a yard of floral cretonne, chintz or other suitable material, and half a yard of mackintosh. Fold the (wo materials together in half, end about five inches from the top fold back, so thaL mackintosh is over the floral material. Stitch a fold of and cut the remainder into fringe. Turn inside out and stitch the two sides, leaving a small opening at the top to givo plenty of room to open out the bag. Put two smooth sticks through the top folds. With about two yards of cord make the handles, finishing each end with a coiled button. And there you are! A very useful present for a very little money.
