LADY SWIMMERS' FAILURE. REVELATIONS IN REPORT. j [ 111' TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] DUNEDIN, Wednesday. " Having sent lady representatives to tho Olympic Games," said Mr. J. L. McIndoc, chairman of the Otago Swimming Centre, at tlio annual meeting of the centre, this evening, " it was only reasonable to expect that every consideration and courtesy would he shown them and every encouragement given them to go in and win.
" if the allegations made in a cbnfidential report hy a member of the swimming team are true, arid I have no reason to believe that they are not, then it is no wonder that the New Zealand lady swimmers were unsuccessful at Amsterdam. "J. cannot say more at present, but when tho report is permitted to be published it will reveal some charges of a very grave nature."
