FOUND DEAD IN COTTAGE.
ELDERLY WAIHI RESIDENT. DISCOVERY BY TRADESMAN. [HY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] WAIHI, Wednesday. Receiving no answer to his knock, a Waihi tradesman entered a cottage in Gilmoro Street early this afternoon and found the owner, Mr. John Tatham, aged 71, a retired miner, lying dead on tho floor A doctor who was called said deceased, who usually enjoyed good health, had been dead for about four hours, and it appeared that his death had been a natural one. An inquest will be held to-morrow morning.
