BRITISH RIFLE SHOOTING.
NEW TARGET MEASURES.

The National Rifle Association has decided to retain the reduced bullseye, but to revert to tho earlier dimensions for tho inner measurements of the targots in 1929. At 200 yds. the aiming mark will be 12in., tho bullseyo sin., tho inner 12in., the magpie 24in.,. the outer 48in. At 300 yds. the respective sizes will bo 12, 718,36 and 48 inches. At 500 and 600 yards they will be 24, 15, 36, 48 and 72 inches.

At tlie Oxford University seniors' sports K. L. Cooper (Western Australia) won the long jump with 19ft. 10in. W. 0. Wcntwortii (Armidale) was second in the quarter-mile race.
