POLICE FIND FINGER-PRINT
ACCUSED SENT FOR TRIAL

A plea of not guilty was entered by .lolin Mackiiulor, alias John White, a labourer aged 28, to-day, to a charge of daylight robbery. It was alleged that lie ransacked the houso of Ivy Marin McArthur and stole jewellery, a watch and milk tokens to a value of £57.
Tho police gave evidence as to the arrest and search of accused, when a ling was found in his overcoat pocket. Jt was staled that a small piece of glass was taken from the front door of the house with a finger-print on it, which an expert has no doubt corresponds exactly with the print of accused's forefinger. Accused was committed for trial.
