SCHOOL AND HOME.
It was a happy thought that enabled ~be' phfe'ntS,' Arid 'Scholars of Te I'apapa school to spend an afternoon together .iu.vorlc and. play. Owing.to the generosity of Mr. Bouzaid the hall was lent at a nominal fee, so the lack of an ossein hi v hall at the school was thus overcome. With the exception of a few items given by friends, parents, or past scholars an opportunity was afforded of seeing Hornet hint; of what the children do. especially in ' dramatic and musical work, games and dancing. Oi particular interest were the original verses from many of the pupils of the school, many of which showed definite promise. It is hoped •that such gatherings as these may be more frequent in the future. Apart from its social value the effort enabled a new gramophone and records to he bought for the school.
