BUSINESS MAN ASSAULTED.
INCIDENT AT WAIUKU. NATIVE ADMITS OFFENCE. [llY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] WAIUKU. Thursday. A scpno in a billiard saloon at Waiuku on a recent Saturday afternoon resulted in a native, Robert Flavell, being charged before Mr. F. H. Levicn, S.M., in the Waiuku Police Court to-day, with assault and with using obscene language. Ho pleaded guilty and attributed the troublo to having bad 100 much liquor. Constablo Christianson said accused went into tho saloon and started an altercation with the proprietor, using obscene language and ultimately assaulting him. Accused was fined il and prohibited for 12 months.
