THE HARBOUR BRIDGE.
gj V} —As a voter in the Auckland Suburbs constituency I am very pleased that both Hn James Gunson and Mr. Allen have pledged themselves and their respective parties to the construction the bridge at tlie earliest moment. It goes to show that those who art on the spot and know most about it are tho most enthusiastic about the bridge. I hope this will be an indication to those more remote, that the bridge will be a greater benefit to them than, perhaps, they realise, and also that tho time is past for shrugging the shoulders and saying, "Oh ! tho bridge will materialise when we're greav-headed." I hope the North will wake up and insist on having this great boon. Common Sense.
