TO KEEP JAM.
In houses whoro there is not enough dry storage room or where there aro toe many mice it is a very good plan to keep jam in tho same kind of bottles and jars as are nosed for bottling fruits and vegetables Those which are fastened on the vacuum system aro really tho best because any fermentation which takes placo immediately loosens the cover, whereas the screwtop bottles are likely to burst under simi. lav conditions, or to go slightly bad bofgro anyone realises it.
