TOWN PLANNING ACT.
SHOP AMONG RESIDENCES. DECISION BY COURT SOUGHT* [liT TELEURAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] CHRISTCHORCH, Wednesday. A case under the Town Planning Act occupied the attention of Mr. Justice Adams in the Supreme Court this morning, in which William Arthur Jones, salesman, Chrisichurch, sought a declaratory judgment as to the powers of the Waimairi County Council to refuso a permit for the erection of a shop on the corner ol Holinwood Road and Rossall Street. The site is in a residential area, and objections have been advanced by ratepayers to the building of a shop there. Judgment was reserved.
