The rinks bowling tournament for the Goldfields Stars and Clothier Shield, although delayed by rain, provided enjoyable games between bowlers from Morrinsvillo, Thames, Hikutaia, Matamata and To Aroha. Tho finalist s were A damson (Thames) and Stewart (Matamata). Dotails of the concluding day's play aro as follows:

A Section.—Fourth round: Kriskovich, 11, v. Robinson, 10; Petersen, 19, v. Gordon, 7; Branch, 20, v. McGonagle, 11; Adamson, 16, v. Towers, 8. Fifth round : McGonagle, 17, v.
