The rinks bowling tournament for the Goldfields Stars and Clothier Shield, although delayed by rain, provided enjoyable games between bowlers from Morrinsvillo, Thames, Hikutaia, Matamata and To Aroha. Tho finalist s were A damson (Thames) and Stewart (Matamata). Dotails of the concluding day's play aro as follows:
A Section.—Fourth round: Kriskovich, 11, v. Robinson, 10; Petersen, 19, v. Gordon, 7; Branch, 20, v. McGonagle, 11; Adamson, 16, v. Towers, 8. Fifth round : McGonagle, 17, v. Kriskovich, 9; Towers, 14, v. Petersen, 11; Robinson, 15, v. (Gordon, 12; Adamson, 15, v. Branch, 11; Sixth round: Adamson, 21, v. Peterson, 10: Branch, 13, v. Robinson, 9; Kriskovich, 24, v. Gordon, 9; Towers, 24, v. .McGonagle, 12. Seventh round: Petersen, 5, v. McGonngle, 3 (unfinished 1; Towers, 14. v. Robinson. 2 (unfinished); Kriskovich beat Adamson by default.
