TWO PERSONS DROWNED
GIRL FALLS INTO RIVER. RESCUER DRAGGED UNDER. SYDNEY. Oct. 11. Two persons were drowned near Turee, on the north coast, when a schoolgirl. Enid Brooks, fell into tho Manning River. Her toacher, Mr. Charles Evendcn,, attempted to rescue her. but tho girl dragged him under. Mr. Ev<*iden could not swim.
