NO WEAKENING OF POLICY.
PEACE PACT NOTWITHSTANDING.

A promise that the Government would not contemplate any weakening in national defence because of the Kellogg pact was given to the American Legion to-day by (ho Secretary of War, Mr. D. F. Davis, in an address at San Antonio, Texas. He praised the purpose and the statesmanship of the pact.
