RIFLE SHOOTING MEETING. MARKSMEN AT SYDNEY. Australian and N.Z. rrcaa Association. (Received October 11, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY. Oct. 11. At the rifle championship meeting tho Prince of Wales match, which forms tho first stage of tho King's Prize (300, 500 and 600 yards), was won by Charlton (Quearibeyan, New South Wales). Ho scored 102 out of a possible 105. Woodward (Melbourne) was Uio best of five who scored 101. Rain interfered with the second stage (10 shots at 600 and 700 yds). Among the early finishers were Robinson (Parramatta) and Patch (Henty), who scored tho possible at the 600 yds. range. Rain fell steadily at the second range, but Fred Harrison (Mosman), who copchcd the last Bislcy team, secured the possible, making 97 for the day and an aggregate of 193. In an exhibition tennis tourney at Kansas City Boussus (France) defeated Wray Brown (St. Louis), I—6, B—6, 6 —3. Cochet (France) defeated Coen (America). 9—7, 6—3. Coßgoshall (Des Moines) defeated Lanry (France), 3—6, 6—l, 8-6.
