STAFF DANCE.
Lines of coloured streamers decorated tho Orange Hall last evening when members of the staff of Turners and Growers, Limited, held a successful dance there. A novel feature of the decorations, was a large multi-coloured electric globe in the centre of the ceiling which gave a spotlight effect as it swung round during tho dances. Among those who were present were:—Miss R. Petrie, who wore a frcck of almond green crepe cle chine, with a cream lace hem; Miss B. Fraser," black satin, with silver bow; Miss Marjo-ie Suter, rose pink taffeta, with hemoofi f gold lace; Miss Audrey Morrison, tangerine panne velvet; Miss D Douglas, cyclamen lame and crepe de chine, tiered skirt: Miss R. W. Mitchell, sage green crepe do chine: Mrs. W. Webb, scarab blue taffeta; Mis* Samson. (Christchurch), shell pink chiffon, with crystal beading; Miss B. Graham, mauve shot taffeta, embroidered with diamante; Miss I. Thompson, black satin, with black lace godets; Miss Ganilcy, cameo pink satin; Miss M. Jones, amber ring velvet, with vandyked hem of pole! lame; Miss Sevi, peach tiered taffeta: Miss -T. Stanborough, pompadour pink ninon and silver lace; Miss L. Tot man, white georgette, embroidered with silver beads; Miss Gardner, almond green chiffon and cream lace: Miss M. Booth, manvo ring velvet, with hem of white fur: Miss N. Donkin, black figured georgette; Miss F. Xorris, praline pink georgette; Miss A. Norris, apricot taffeta; Miss D Diamond, powder blue taffeta, with scalloped hem; Miss Pvke. powder blue taffeta: Miss Lloyd, orange satin, with pearl embroideries: Miss E. Walters. leaf green georgette; Miss D. TTaworth, parline pink crepe de cliino and silver lace; Miss G. Brown, lemon georgette; Miss Steed, lacquer red crepe do chine, with gold lare trimming; Miss ITotrp. black chiffon velvet : Miss Sarchett, almond green seqtiinned georgette.
