STRUCK BY FALLING TREE.
DEATH OF FARM WORKER. [by telegraph.—own correspondent. ] HAMILTON, Thursday. An inquest was opened this morning concerning tho death of Adam Lind Bruce, a farm worker, aged 27, who died at tho Hamilton Hospital last evening as a result of injuries received when a tree fell on him at Mr J Milne's farm. Waiorongomat, Te Aroha. on October 5. Dr. T G. Miller, of the hospital medical staff, said deceased was admitted on October 5 suffering from injuries to tho head and a fractured leg, from which he had not rallied. Tho coroner. Mr. Wyvevn Wilson, S.M., decided • that a ooit-mortem examination should bo held, and the inquest was adjourned.
