PRINCE IN AFRICA.

HISTORIC NATIVE MEETING. ASTONISHMENT AT CINEMA. British Wireless. RUGBY, Oct. 9. African chiefs and headmen and tbeir retainers arc making their way homo, after tho historic gathering at Nairobi, where 1500 leading African natives were the guests of tho Government during tho visit of the Princo of Wales and tho Duko of Gloucester. Most of the painted and befeathered tribesmen saw motor-cars, aeroplanes and cinemas for tho first time. At a cinema they saw a film depicting King George reviewing tho Guards in full uniform. They expressed astonishment at tho number and height of tho soldiers. This notable experiment in the history of the African tribes brought together two tribes, tho members of which for generations have been enemies, constantly raiding and counter-raiding. Their mutual understanding and enjoyment of peaceful relations at tho Nairobi camp was a tiibute to tho success of the British administration in their area.
