With tlio increase in popularity of the motor-boat, in England, progressive British linns have been concentrating on thorough standardisation of motor craft, but this has been chiefly confined to motor launches. Tlio latest British standard motor cruiser, however, is becoming extremely popular, and shows an attractive and wise planning of interior accommodation. It is the product of J. W. Brooke and Company, Ltd., of Lowestoft, andi'is a 30ft. twin-engined, sea-going cruiser! with a beam of 7ft. 6in. and draught of 2ft., and, in spite of its moderate dimensions, six persons are provided with light, roomy and airy sleeping and living accommodation. It hns been carefully designed, and is specially constructed as a safe, seaworthy craft, with low running and upkeep costs. Twin machinery employed gives double assurance to seagoers; twin Brooko Empiro 10 h.p. four-cylinder engines are placed and give the boat a cruising speed of approximately 10 m.p.li.
