MATCHES FOR SATURDAY. The nwnaci'ment committee of the Auckland Rugby Lcnguo met last evening. Mr. G. Ilhodes presiding. A letter from Huntly asking for a representative junior team to visit there on Saturday week was referred to tho junior management committee. Owing to injuries to players tho Athletic, teatu declined its engagement in the Labour Day competition, and it was decided to substitute Point Chevalier. Permission was granted to junior players to take part in the Labour Day senior trade competition, their grading as juniors to bo in no way affected. Tlio champion of ohnmpions' match for tho Stormont Shield, contested annually between the teams winning tho senior grade championship and the Koope Rooster competition. will be played on Saturday, when Devonport meets Marist.
