THE EPSOM CLUB. ENTERTAINMENT OF VISITORS. A hurriedly-arranged reception whs given Tiy the Epsom Bowling Club to' Sir Joseph Carruthers, ex-Premier of New South W ales, and an enthusiastic bowler, who is returnins from tho Cook celebrations in Honolulu; sdso, to Mr. Marks, one of Sydney s leading bowlers, and to several members of the returned New Zealand touring team. A game was arranged between tho Australian visitors, assisted by local Players, -who had taken part with them in the I'm tournament, and an Epsom team, led by the president.
