CRUISING CLUB DANCE.

The annual dance of the Ponsonby Cruising Club was held on Saturday evening at the Point Erin Kiosk, and proved a thoroughly enjoyable event. The decorations were bright and effective, and were carried out with balloons and streamers. Walter Smith s Orchestra provided the dance music. The ladies of the committee comprised Mrs. S. Dryland, who wore silver grey crepe de chine; Mrs. P. Arthur, frock of pink crepe de chine; Miss L. Arthur, ivory georgette over mauve; Miss J. Howes, blue crepe de chine; Miss L. Newcombe, rose georgette; Miss E. Sniythe, green georgette. Among those present were Mrs. llohics, who wore brown beaded marocain; Mrs. Millar, Naples blue with Indian embroidery; Mrs. Arthur, sapphire blue beaded georgette; Mrs. Mackay, black satin; Miss M. Knox, blue marocain; Miss i. Mowbray, black taffetas and lace; Miss P. Hazard, gold lace; Miss I. Saunders, iris georgette; Miss D. Crookos, black crepe de chine; Miss E. White, royal bluo marocain; Miss M. Richardson, green chiffon velvet and georgette; Miss A. Colebrook, cyclamen velvet; Miss F. Sannders, red georgette; Miss Ratcliffe, blue chenille; Miss E. Gribble, pink satin and net; Miss I. Dennis, apricot taffetas; Miss S. Hill, cyclamen taffetas; Miss S. Whittle, lemon georgette; Miss D. Blucher, cyclamen georgette; Miss K.
