MANGERE CROQUET CLUB.
A large number of members and friends of the above club attended an enjoyable progressive 500 afternoon held in the supper room of tho Mangoro East Hall. Mrs. Laslett, senr., was awarded the first prize and Mrs. Patterson the consolation prize. Tho hidden treasure wfis won by Mrs. W. McNcely. Members of tho club served afternoon ton. Ihe proceeds of the function will go toward the club's funds.
