GIFT AFTERNOON.
Mrs. Partington and Mrs. TTocfgson were the hostesses at a gift afternoon held in the Jubilee Hall, Kingsland, last week. Gifts were receivod for the rainbow fair and sale of work to be. held very shortly. Songs were sung by Mrs. Patterson, Mrs. Craig, Mrs. Hulse, Airs. Rogers and Miss Herbert. Tho pianist was Miss Pickering. Recitations were given by Mrs. T. Clark, Mrs. Ryland, and Miss Bessio Mosser, and two amusing competitions wore won by Mrs. Ryland and Miss SliorUand. A large number of ladies were present and afternoon tea was served from small tables decorated with ferns and spring flowers.
