CLUB DANCE.
A very enjoyable dance was held by (lie Aolearoa Men's Club in the Masonic Hall, Eden Terrace, on Saturday evening. Multi-coloured streamers and special lighting effects made the hall most attractive looking and excellent music for dancing was played by Mr. Leo Sayers and his Seattle Snappy Six. The exhibition dances of Miss Kathleen 0 Connor and her partner from the Embassy Ballroom Studios, were much enjoyed and Miss O'Connor was presented with a bouquet. The dance committee for tho evening comprised Mr. D. Bowles, Mr. Dave McDonald, and Mr. Boy Bowles. Among tliose present were: —Miss L. Shanks, who wore cyclamen crepe de chine; Miss F. Hogan, rose blush georgette and silver lame; Miss A. Andrews, cerise ring velvet and diamante; Miss V. Shanks, azure blue: georgette and cream shawl; Miss 0. Tomlinson, ecru lace over sea green taffetas; Miss B. Hogan, eau de nil crepe do chine and silver; Miss M. Blakeley, pink silk marocain;. Miss P. "Arnott, green crepe de chine and silver lame; Miss I. Million, black velvet, with cose and silver trimming; Miss M. Jacobsen, cream Chant illy lace with scarlet posv and Spanish shawl; Miss M. Arnott., powder blue beaded georgette; Miss I. Scrimgeonr, black sequinned georgette; Miss T. Mackay, powder blue embroidered ninon; Miss Carline, blue crepe de chine and silver lace, French beaded shawl; Miss A. Hall, black tulle frock, gold corsage; Miss P. Curran, green georgette and diamante trimming; Miss Hawkes, black beaded georgette over silver cloth; Miss C. O'Brien, rose and blue beaded ninon; Miss D. Jackson, blue crepe de chine and silver tinsel; Miss C. Harrison, preen beaded crepe de chine; Miss K. Tose, scarlet chenille and georgette; Miss S. McKeown, black taffeta; Miss I. Gardiner, ivory tulle and silver brocade with diamante trimming; Miss T. Mowat, cerise figured georgette; M:ss E. Vailo, lettuce green taffeta; Miss G. Curran, old gold shot taffeta; Miss J. McLean, cyclamen chenille georgette and black Spanish shawl.
