EXPLOSION ON TRAIN.
CASUALTIES IN INDIA. A MYSTERIOUS OCCURRENCE. (Received October 9. 12.15 a.m.) United Service. CALCUTTA, Oct. 8. The Allahabad express was approaching Bombay to-day when an explosion occurred in one of the carriages. Three people were killed and eight others were injured. The occurrence is most mysterious as there was no gas holder beneath the carnage, which was lighted by electricity.
