WOMAN NATURALIST'S DEATH COLLECTOR FOR MUSEUM. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. 3 DUXEDIN, Monday. At an inquest to-day concerning the death of Catherine Willis Begg, who was drowned near Lawyer's Head on October 1, a verdict of accidental drowning was returned. It was stated in evidence that deceased was an official collector for the natural history section of the National Museum of Wales, and was in the habit of collecting specimens from rocks, and pools along tho coast. She was unacquainted with this coast, where there are many kelpcovered rocks accessible at low tide, but washed by breakers. The indications were that tho woman was swept from one of these rocks.
