CHINESE REPUBLIC DAY.
CELEBRATIONS TO-MORROW. Member of the Chinese community in •Auckland will to-morrow celobrate the 17th anniversary of the founding of the ChineSo Republic. All Chinese business houses and shops will be closed, and the principal event of the day will be a picnic at Ferhdale, when it is expocted about 600 people will be present. Sports, both Chinese and European, will be played, including an Association football tournament. Buses will leave the Civic Square at 10 o'clock. The Chinesso name for the day is -"Mo Chong Ho Yo," meaning " The Uprising of the Republic of China**
