TOO MUCH SALT IN BEER.
BREWERY COMPANY FINED. [ ny - TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. ] PALMERSTON NORTH. Monday. In the Magistrate's Court to-day the Tui Brewery Co., Mangafainoka, pleaded guilty to a charge of having an excessive amount of salt in a sample of beer which was analysed. Defendants were unable to account for the extra 15 grains per gallon. The frown solicitor said the company was warned last, year, and he suggested that carelessness was the reason for the presence of too much chloride in the beer, Mr. J. Ij. Stout, S.M., imposed a fine of £5 and costs..
