Advice lias boon received in London that Lady Bailey, wife of Sir Abo Bailey, has arrived in a Moth aeroplano at Loanda, Portuguese East Africa. She loft Elizabothvillo, in the Belgian Congo, on September 24, with the intention of flying to England by way of tho west coast of Africa, as (lie British authorities had forbidden her to fly alone across the dangerous parts of East Africa and ttie Sudan. Lady Bailey flew for 10 days over West African territory, which is almost unknown in aviation. It is one of tho most hazardous flights ever undertaken by a woman. Tho distance from Elizabothvillo to Loanda is about 1000 miles.
