I LABOUR AT HAMILTON. ADDRESS BY CANDIDATE. [BY TEEECJIAFH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] '» HAMILTON, Sunday. An address was given at Frankton last evening by Mr. F. \V. Schramm, of Auckland, who opened his campaign as the nominated Labour candidate for the Hamilton scat at the general election. Mr. J. Terry presided over an attendance of about lOC I . "If there is no Labour candidate standing," said Mr. Schramm, "voto for (he Country Party. The Country Party is the nearest approach to Labour. As for candidates of other labels, do not vole for them. You know where Reform stands, but the other candidates will only mislead you. They will tell you lliey have sympathy for Labour before the election and when they ale returned they will vote for Reform against Labour. There are only two parties in tho campaign worth considering —Labour and Reform." Mr. Schramm said the parly at present jn power was the most unconstitutional in the history of the country. The country's financial position would rapidly bocomo worse until a change of Government was brought about. Regarding working and living conditions, he advocated an unemployment insurance ,system.
