EVENING AT TAKAPUNA

The Bays water-Belmont Progressive Association, in conjunction with the Bays* watei'-Belmont Women's Progressive League, gave a social evening in tho Takapuna Boating • Clubhouse at Bayswafer on Saturday evening in honour of Mr. 0. Aloller, who is retiring president of the Ratepayers' Association. During tho evening toasts were proposed and honoured to Air. Aloller and tho Bays-water-Belmont Women's Progressive League and a silver rose bowl was presented to Alt'. Aloller by Air. AI. Blampicd on behalf of the association. Items were given by Aliss Blaekwell, Miss Foster, Afiss Orchard, Aliss Grcvillc. Aliss Davis, and Mi-. Turner. Supper was supplied bv the ladies' committee of the league.
