ITALIAN AIRMAN DEAD.
MAJOR CARLO DEL PRETE. SEQUEL TO RECENT CRASH. Australian Press Association—United Service RIO DE JANEIRO. Aug. 16. The airman, Major Carlo del Preto, who recently flew to Brazil from Italy, died today from injuries suffered in the test flight at Rio de Janeiro on August 7. His right leg was amputated on Wednesday.
