NOTES ABOUT LOOSE COVERS.
Nearly all loose covers for chairs anil sofas look neater and more tailored when thev are finished with piping. If they are* being made at home it is well to remember that piping cord is very apt to shrink tb" first time it is washed, and as this would make the. seams on the loose cover look puckered it is best Jo have the cord washed, boiled, and dried before it s used. The strips for covering the piping cord should always be cut on the cross.
