THINGS TO BE KEPT DARK.
Bottled fruits should always bo kept in a cool, dark place. The light causes them to lose their colour, and too much ■warmth is likely to make them go bad. Everyone knows that peroxide of hydrogen should also be kept away from the iight, but it is not generally known that many perfumes are apt to lose iri strength as well as in colour if the sun is allowed to shine upon them.
