LADIES' INTER-CLUB MATCH. AUCKLAND AND TITIRANGI. A return match was played by members of the Titirangi and Auckland Ladies Golf Clubs at Middlemore yesterday. The games ended all square. 11l the singles in the morning Titirangi won 51 matches to while in the foursomes in the afternoon Auckland won 3J, games to Following nvo the results of matches 111 the singles, Titirangi players being mentioned first:—Mrs. Dulaur and Miss E. Culling, all square; Mrs. Hosking beat Miss E. M. Upton, 5 and 4; Mrs. B:»nister beat Mrs. Wilson, 3 and 2; Mrs. Alison beat Miss F. Rathbone, 4 and 2; - Miss M. Colebrook beat Miss M. Macfarlane, 4 and 3; Mrs. Finlay lost to Mrs. Robertson, 4 and 3; Miss 0. Bray beat Miss T. Baylev, 5 and 4; Mrs. McMillan lost to Miss E. Wilson, 6 and 5. The results of the foursomes played in the afternoon were as follows, Auckland players being mentioned first:—Miss Culling and Miss Rathbone beat Mrs. Dufaur and Mrs. Hosking, 4 and 3; Mrs. Robertson and Miss Upton beat Mrs. Banister and Mrs. Finlay, 3 and 2: Mrs. Wilson and Miss E. Wilson and Miss Colebrook and Mrs. Alison, all square: Miss Macfarlane and Miss Bayley beat Miss Bray and Mrs. McMillan, 3 and 2. A recent match played between these two clubs was won somewhat easily by the Auckland Ladies' Club. TITIRANGI LADIES' CLUB. A four-ball bogey match played by members of the Titirangi Ladies' Golf Club in which seniors and juniors were drawn together resulted as follows: —Mrs. Mason and Miss M. Cooke, 7 up; Miss Colebrook and Miss Duder, 7 up; Mrs. Hosking and Miss Lawrence, 6 up; Mrs. McMillan and Miss Rob son, 5 up; Mrs. Beattie and Mrs. Court, 5 lip; Mrs. K. Ilorton and Mrs. Ferguson, 5 up; Miss M. Fuuhey and Mrs. Roberts. 4 up. The Titirangi Club ladies' championship has been fixed for August 28, 29 and 30. Oil the first day there will bo a qualifying round and, in conjunction, a medal handicap, tiie first round of the championship following in the afternoon. On the second day the second round will be played in conjunction with a bogey handicap, and will bo followed by the semi-finals. On the third day foursomes will be played in the morning and the championship final in the afternoon.

A.KARAXA LADIES' CLUB. The stroke competition played by members of (lie Akar;ma Ladies' Golf Club resulted in a win for Miss T. Cox, 105, 26—79. Other scores were:—Miss M. Mason. 114, 34--80: Miss Tyler-j Davies, 108 , 26 82; Miss Jefferson, 120. 36—84. The foursomes match was won by Miss G. Parr and Miss Armstrong, 112, 32 —80. The King Country golf championships commenced here to-day in perfect weather. The ladies' competitions were played, Tauinarunui, To Kuiti, 'J e Awamntu and Otorohanga clubs being represented. The teams championship cup was won by Te Awamntu. The individual championship was won by Mrs. Kichter (Taumarumii) with a score of 137, Mrs. Batt (Taumarumii), 144, being runner-up. The teams handicap cup was won by Te Kuiti with a net total of 695. The silver cup for the best, handicap round over 27 holes was won by Mrs. Innes Jones (Te Kuiti), with a. score of 150.
