FOUR MEN ON A SECTION. r A charge of gaming in a public place tvas preferred against E. Currie, W. '3. Herron, V. Silver and 11. Smith, in the folice Court yesterday. A constable said he visited a vacant lection iu Gaunt Street on - a Sunday 6 fiernoon and found tho men playing '* pontoon." It was mostly " penny gambling." It was stated two of the men were leaving the " school " as the constable trrivet] on the scene. Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M.: But two cantut play, can they ? A fine of 10s was imposed on each lecused. For usins obscene language in a testaurant, I\. L. Lincoln was fined £l. A fine of £2 was imposed on CI. v Berry tar being unlawfully on licensed premises.
